Transcription is the conversion of audio or video content into text. When that text then needs to be in a different language, the project combines transcription with translation in a single workflow. We handle both steps, which eliminates the coordination overhead of using separate vendors.
We transcribe interviews, depositions, conference recordings, webinars, training videos, focus groups, and broadcast content. For legal and corporate clients, we can work to verbatim or clean-read standards depending on the requirement.
Once the source transcript is complete, translation proceeds as with any other document project. For subtitle and closed captioning projects, we format the output to match time codes and character limits for the target platform.
Audio quality affects transcription accuracy. We are transparent about this: if you send us a recording with significant background noise or multiple overlapping speakers, we will tell you what to expect before starting. We would rather set realistic expectations than deliver something that does not meet your needs.
