Snowy Sky Translations started in Ottawa in 2017. The founding idea was straightforward: Ottawa is a bilingual city full of organizations, law firms, government suppliers, and international families who need accurate translation, and most of what existed was either too slow, too expensive, or used machine translation in ways that were not disclosed.

We work primarily with law firms, immigration consultants, government contractors, and technology companies across Canada and internationally. Our translator network includes specialists in legal, medical, technical, and government sectors.

Every project goes through a two-step process: a primary linguist who is native in the target language, followed by a separate editorial review. This is not an optional premium. It is how we work on every project.

We are based in Nepean (Ottawa), Ontario. All of our work is delivered digitally. Location has never stopped us from working with clients from Vancouver to Montreal to London.
